Barcelona boss Hansi Flick is being tipped to make changes to his team for Saturday’s match against Real Betis after trialling some different combinations in training.
The German coach tried a front three of Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres and Robert Lewandowski in Friday’s session, according to Relevo.
Torres is pushing hard for another start after scoring the winner against Atletico Madrid in midweek, and Flick admitted in his pre-match press conference he could make changes.
“We have to manage this whole issue with so many games ahead. It’s normal. I spoke with the experts and we decided together what to do and how many minutes they can play each game,” he said.
“We’re not looking at Dortmund yet, but at Betis. We need to have fresh legs on the pitch tomorrow.
We check everything every day, how the players are doing. But at the highest level, there are always games, and it’s very important to get the players back on track.
“My team works hard, and it’s not easy, but when you’re winning games, it gives you a lot of confidence. You always have to think about the next game, and I really like what I’m seeing in the locker room right now.”
Eric Garcia is also being tipped to start against Real Betis, while Gavi could also feature after Flick confirmed he’s ready and available after missing the midweek clash against Atletico.
