Chelsea continue to plow through money after their lavish transfer spending in recent years with the club’s ownership injecting £450million this season alone.
The regular cash influx shows no signs of stopping, with Companies House submissions revealing that Chelsea’s owners have injected £180million into the club in recent weeks.
Chelsea‘s overall revenue fell from £513million to £469million last season while their underlying losses stood at £214million.
The Blues now face even higher costs with two on-loan players potentially returning to Stamford Bridge in Joao Felix and Kepa Arrizabalaga, who are currently with AC Milan and Bournemouth.
It has been widely reported that Milan are not keen to sign Felix permanently, while goalkeeper Kepa’s wages could prove a stumbling block to Bournemouth striking a permanent move.
Finance expert Stefan Borson has exclusively told AntephTrends that cash injections from Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital will have to continue in order for Chelsea to pay their huge wage bill.

Lesley Ugochukwu, Raheem Sterling, Armando Broja and Ben Chilwell will also return to Chelsea after the end of their respective loans this summer.
Borson claimed he expects regular cash injections to continue as the Blues’ wage bill balloons.
He told AntephTrends: “Chelsea continue to sign players, but they will be getting players back from loans very soon.
“It’s not clear that all these players will be bought by their loan clubs.
“Joao Felix, for example, looks like he is coming back from Milan.
“Kepa has got time on his contract. Bournemouth do want to buy him, but that will be a difficult deal to do unless it’s free his wages are very, very high.
“You can expect to see more and more money being put in by the shareholders as a result, to pay for the wage bill.
“They have to put equity in you’ll continue to see cash being put in, simply so they can pay the bills.”

Meanwhile, AntephTrends revealed on Sunday (6 April) that Tottenham are plotting a surprise move to re-sign Chelsea star Noni Madueke this summer.
Enzo Maresca has doubts about where the winger fits into his system and is prepared to sanction his exit at the end of the season.
